How DFKover handles personal information across our website, passenger journeys and connected transport workflows.

1. Who we are
DFKover Technologies Limited (“DFKover”, “we”, “us” or “our”) builds digital infrastructure for intercity road travel, including passenger manifest, trip-record and insurance-distribution workflows.
Depending on the particular service or partnership, DFKover may process personal information for its own purposes or on behalf of a transport operator, insurer or other partner.
2. Information we may collect
The information we process depends on how you interact with DFKover. It may include:
- ✓Passenger information such as name, phone number and other information required for a journey or insurance workflow.
- ✓Trip information including origin, destination, route, departure, vehicle and manifest details.
- ✓Driver information and commercial journey activity connected to recorded trips.
- ✓Insurance-related information such as policy or cover status, confirmation references and information necessary to support an insurance workflow.
- ✓Incident or support information where a journey requires operational or claims-related assistance.
- ✓Contact information you provide when speaking with DFKover about partnerships, support, investment or other enquiries.
- ✓Technical and security information reasonably necessary to operate and protect our services.
3. Why we use personal information
We may process personal information to:
- • create and maintain passenger and trip records;
- • support digital passenger-manifest workflows;
- • facilitate agreed insurance-distribution workflows;
- • send trip, policy or service confirmations;
- • support operators, passengers, drivers and insurance partners;
- • investigate operational issues, incidents or failed transactions;
- • maintain security, reliability and service integrity;
- • meet legal, regulatory and contractual obligations; and
- • improve DFKover’s products and operations.

Where applicable, we process personal information on a recognised lawful basis. Depending on the activity, this may include performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, legitimate interests, consent or another basis permitted by applicable law.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw that consent subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.

DFKover does not sell personal information. We may share information where necessary with parties involved in providing or supporting the relevant service, including:
- • transport operators and authorised park personnel;
- • licensed insurers and insurance-distribution partners;
- • technology, hosting, communications and infrastructure providers;

- • regulators, public authorities or law-enforcement bodies where required by law; and
- • another organisation where you have authorised or requested the sharing.
6. Data minimisation and retention
We aim to collect only information reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it is being processed.
Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant operational, contractual, insurance, regulatory, security or legal purpose, after which it should be deleted, anonymised or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable requirements.

No digital system can guarantee absolute security, but protecting journey and passenger information is treated as part of DFKover’s core infrastructure responsibility.

- • request access to personal information held about you;
- • request correction of inaccurate information;
- • object to certain processing;

- • lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

DFKover may connect with services operated by transport companies, insurers, communications providers and other partners. Their handling of personal information may also be governed by their own privacy notices, contractual arrangements and legal obligations.

Where information relating to a child is processed as part of a lawful passenger journey or service, DFKover and its relevant partners will handle that information in accordance with applicable legal and operational requirements.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as DFKover’s products, partnerships and legal obligations develop. The current version will be published on this page together with its effective date.
